Another of the officially classified most beautiful villages in
france, Treignac-sur-Vezere, with its gothic bridge and ruined castle
(of course) cascades down the hill to the fast flowing river Vézère.
The river is fast flowing, because of a damn some 4k upstream,
which forms a lake... which is a bit of a bonus for the locals and
visitors alike.
Check out the turreted houses and carved doorways of the old town,
together with the 15C granite covered market.

get a sumptious view from the D16.
