Nestled in the heart of rural France at Lostange, Le Champ gite is a spacious, detached stone farmhouse with large garden and stunning countryside views. Just 10 minutes from Turenne, a plus beaux villages de France and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, a very picturesque market down on the banks of the Dordogne river.

The gite which sleeps 7 in 4 bedrooms, is also very near to 2 other plus beaux village de France... Curemonte and Collonges la Rouge. The charming village of Le Pescher is just down the road.

The gite
Accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms (one of which is en-suite), 1 twin and one single bedroom, which share a family bathroom with bath and shower. The spacious kitchen/diner is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. The very spacious living room is equipped with a woodburner, British satellite TV Sky) and a DVD player. The living room (which also has a sofa bed, also features stairs to the galleried mezzanine floor which houses one of the double en-suite bedrooms.

The Garden
Outside is a spacious garden with a kiddies play area and stunning views. There is a large tiled terrace equipped with tables and chairs and a Bar-B-Q.

The Surrounding Area
Southern Correze is one of France's many hidden treasures and we are only a short dirve from the departements of Lot, Dordogne and Cantal.

• 10 minutes to the picturesque town of Beaulieu Sur La Dordogne, offering beaches, swimming, canoeing, restaurants and bars.
• 10 minutes to Etang de Miel, a lakewith a beach, excellent for swimming, paddle boats, restaurant/bar.
• Historic and beautiful villages such as Curemonte (weekly summer night market), Meyssac (weekly markets Tuesday and Friday), Collanges La Rouge, all known throughout France.
• A host of ancient chateaux (castles) Turenne, Castelnau, St Céré to name but a few.
• Historic sites such as Rocamadour and Carennac.
• Caves and Grottes, e.g., Lascaux, Lamouroux, Gouffe de Padirac.
