Cressensac itself is fairly unremarkable, in as much as it is cut
in two by the busy N20 that links Brive
and Souillac (for those that do not
want to belt down the new A20 motorway).
What makes it worth a mention here, is that nearby will be not
only the major junction of the A20 and the long awaited West-East
A89 motorway, linking Brive, through Perigeaux to Bordeaux, but
the new airport.
Now we are not talking Gatwick here. The busiest airports that
serve rural France, whilst modern, are more like private aero-clubs.
It is just that the quicker the links back from the UK for gite
owners the better!
Rumour has it, that Ryanair have agreed to start flights in 2007.
