Just outside Gramat, is the Parc Animalier,
which is open all year round.
OK, so if you have seen the great zoos of London, San Diego or
Hong Kong, say, this cannot compare. But it does boast some 1,000
animals comprising 150 different species found in Europe. The Parc
Animalier is involved with conservation of rare species as well
as providing a great day out for the kids when they (or you) tire
of the gite pool or sightseeing!
Set in 40 hectares with a Café and also a designated picnic
area - so raid your gite's fridge and pack the eskie.
