You will not often see St. Projet written about in guides, nor
websites such as this. In fact, we could not find a mention of it
Not that there is anything wrong with St Projet. On the contrary,
it is a beautiful little place of champagne coloured stone houses,
that typifies many of the unsung villages dotted throughout the
lush Lot farmland.
We include it here, because it is places like this that have wooed
many an expat to choose the Lot to buy holiday homes... to settle
in.
And why not... places like Souillac,
the nearest major centre du commerce are very necessary to
life in France... as too are major tourist attractions to visit,
like nearby Rocamadour... but it is
in places like St Projet that most Brit settlers want their nearest
town (and baker) to be. Check out the pigeonnier. Nice.
