The gite in Vayrac is a small, charming detached colombage and stone cottage, very old in origin. Tucked away in a small cul de sac in the village centre, means it is quiet but also very convenient for the shops, of which Vayrac has just about all you will need on a day to day basis (including two banks!). Unusual for a village centre gite, it has a pretty walled garden which is fully enclosed and private, with a lawn surrounded by flowers & trees, and a patio area next to the house. There is a parking area right in front of the house. Good swimming facilities are close-by

The gite has a large combined kitchen, dining & sitting room on the ground floor, with French doors onto the patio & garden. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms, (one with a king size bed, the other with two single beds). These share a family bathroom. Electric heating upstairs & a wood-burner downstairs keep the gite, with it's 2 metre thick walls, very snug in winter.

Sympathetically renovated and refitted a couple of years ago, the gite at Vayrac is a great village self catering holiday gite, for those that do not want to be isolated and who prefer not to have to get in the car to get their morning croisssant and newspaper! Very well situated in the Dordogne river valley, Vayrac is an ideal jump-off point to explore this beautiful part of the Lot. The River Dordogne with its swimming and canoeing and Carennac, one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, are both very close-by, with Martel, St. Céré, and Bretenoux all within 20 minutes drive.

The gite in Vayrac is also a very good longer term rental proposition, for those who are house hunting or need to live somewhere nearby whilst renovating their own petite piece de France.

The gite is available for long term and out of season rental, at negotiable rates.
