Malbernat is situated in the beautiful Lot countryside, close to Freyssinet-le-Gelat, Preyssac and the Lot River, at Puy l'Eveque. Tucked snugly into the gated courtyard of the Malbernat gite complex, there are two self catering, terraced cottages converted from the long Barn. These gites can be rented separately, or together as a pair.

Cottage 1 - the larger of the two cottages sleeps 6 in three bedrooms.

The living room of the larger gite, has a fitted pine corner kitchen , microwave, fridge and gas cooker. There is also a woodstove for those occasional cooler autumnal evenings and it puts out enough heat for winter too. From the living room the double doors open onto a wisteria bordered patio with table/chairs, parasols, fitted barbecue.

The gite bedrooms have beamed ceilings and pine floors. The double room has a handbasin, and overlooks open fields. The twin room overlooks the courtyard. The third bedroom has bunk beds for children. The shower room has a fully tiled shower with glazed door, wc and hand basin.

Cottage 2 - the smaller of the two gites, sleeps 4 in two bedrooms.

Of similar interior confirguration, the two bedroom cottage gite also has a living/dining room and fitted pine corner kitchen, with microwave, fridge and gas cooker. Again, there is also a woodstove for those cooler autumnal evenings or winter warmth. The double and twin bedrooms are beamed , with pine floors. The shower room has a large fully tiled shower with glass door, handbasin and wc.

Outside the patio has a fitted barbecue, table and chairs with parasol, all overhung with wisteria and campsia .

The 11x 5 metres pool is just through the gate by the cottage gites and is shared with the barn gite... for the safety of young children the pool area is fenced as well as gated.
