The Bijo gites comprise two properties, to rent together or separately - Maison Bijo and Petite Bijo. Near to Rocamadour and just a few minutes from the bustling market town of Gramat.

The nearby (6k) town of Gramat, with its medieval centre, straddles the main route from Figeac to Martel and Souillac, making this spacious and adaptable gite at Bio a great base for exploring this beautiful part of France.

The immediate area is rich in beautiful villages. The gite is near Carennac, Loubressac and, Autoire, three of the most beautiful villages in France. The caves of Gouffre de Padirac are about 15 minutes drive as too is the marvellous Parc Aquatic Padirac, with its huge lagoon style swimming pool and waterslides, trampolines, climbing frames and café/bar. Rocamadour, one the the most famous sites in France, is very near... less than half an hour.

The Bijo gites comprise two properties, which can be rented separately or together. Both are completely self contained with their separate facilities and separate entrances.

Maison Bijo. Sleeps 6-8 in 3 double bedrooms (and a sofa-bed). The modern oak kitchen retains the 300 year old character with the original exposed beams and includes fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large cooker, coffee maker. The south facing terrace of the gite, is ideal for al fresco dining, in addition to the large lounge/dining room with satellite TV and DVD.

The bathroom includes a corner bath and shower.

Petite Bijo. The Australian owners' charming 2-bedroom gite, with added luxuries like the Jacuzzi bath, is attached to the farmhouse and is available for rental certain times of the year

The gite has its own private entrance and was lovingly restored in 2004 with polished timber floors and exposed stone walls.

Unwind in the luxury spa bathroom or enjoy Bio's delightful village atmosphere, with its friendly inhabitants and magnificent views from the hills.

Accommodation is on one floor and includes 2 double bedrooms, lounge with satellite TV and DVD and dining area, leading to a modern kitchen with solid wood kitchen units, cooker, microwave oven, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.
